This weekend I replaced my throwout bearing, clutch fork pivot ball, shifter bushings, and rear main seal. The writeup from the FAQ was perfect, everything went smoothly, until I got my car back on the ground and tried to start it up. I turned the key to the "ON" position and when I turned it all the way to start all my dash lights faded and then nothing would happen. I checked all my fuses inside and a couple under the hood and they looked good. So then I came here and searched and found that the 30 amp fusible link by the battery might be out. I totally forgot about those fuses. Checked it out and sure enough, that was it. Replaced it then went to start it again and the same thing happend so I knew the starter was blowing the fuse and I had f'ed something up. Turns out like a moron I crimped the wire from the harness underneath one of the mounting bolts! Well shit. Got it out and some electrical tape fixed the problem. Okay, so before I end this long-ass post (sorry) just wanted to give thanks to all the members here and the people who have written the FAQ's. Also, search is such a valuable tool and all you noobs need to use it as much as you can! Peace all, and thanks again!
